Arrowroot (refill)

Arrowroot is a white powder extracted from the root of a West Indian plant.  It has twice the thickening power of wheat flour and the same as cornstarch.

Arrowroot can be used as a thickening agent for sauces, fruit pie fillings, glazes, and puddings.
